Taco’s With An Easy Twist!

Looking for a quick meal during these busy summer nights?  Try one of these:

  • Pulled Pork; buy it cooked ahead in your meat section.
  • Fish Fillets; bake in the oven while you pour yourself a glass of wine.  Put your fillets (frozen tilapia works great) on a baking sheet, sprinkle with taco seasoning and put in the oven at 350 for about 20 minutes.  If  it starts to smell fishy in your house-stop your overcooking it-use a thermometer.  The temperature should be 140 when you remove it from the oven, you will see it start to flake apart.
  • Rotisserie Chicken; shred and add taco seasoning.

Pair with:

  • Soft & hard shell tacos
  • Shredded coleslaw
  • Diced tomatoes-canned works in a pinch
  • Shredded cheese
  • Black beans
  • Taco sauce
  • Sour cream
  • Chips & salsa; what is your favorite salsa?  So many to choose from!

Taco’s make easy week night meals and great fun parties!

I can help you plan a taco party for 2-2,000.  Of course for the party we will kick up the recipes a notch 😉

Have a great day!
