A Fiesta adds fun to any party! Mexican food has so much flavor and is great for entertaining a crowd. A favorite seasoning to have on hand for this style of cooking is Tajin Clasico. It packs an amazing taste of chile powder kissed by lime.
Chips & Salsa; Offer a couple of salsas. A favorite fruit salsa of mine is listed below. For the chips you can’t beat the convenience of store bought but how about making your own? Buy wonton wrappers, cut diagonal and deep fry. Season with sugar and cinnamon or a Tajin Classico.
Taco Bar; options are endless here. Beef, Chicken, Pulled Pork or Yummy Fish Tacos with a Lime Greek Yogurt-a couple of recipe ideas below…
For the bar include; Soft & hard shell tacos, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes (canned works in a pinch), shredded cheese, black beans, taco sauce & sour cream.
Refreshments; Margaritas and Micheladas
For Micheladas season your glass rim with a little lime juice, salt and Tajin Classico add your favorite beer and top it off with tomato juice…
Party add-ons; Decorate with bright red and yellow decorations-your local party store or dollar store has all kinds of options. Play Mariachi music, get a piñata or two. For the Piñata fill the kids version with candy of course and the adult version with small liquor bottles. Now that’s a Fiesta!
Cheers!
