Turkey Spinner Rolls

Thanksgiving for a few or thanksgiving leftovers?  This works for both 😊

Turkey Spinner Rolls

1 tube pizza dough

1 cup cooked stuffing, cooled

16 thin slices or pieces of turkey

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

2 Tbsp Herbs de Provence

1 egg

Flour

  1. Sauté turkey in pan over medium high heat for a few minutes with oil and 1 Tbsp Herbs de Provence, let cool for 30 min.
  2. Make egg wash by mixing egg in a bowl with a little water.
  3. Sprinkle flour on a large cutting board or counter.
  4. Place pizza dough on flour and roll out just a little.
  5. Layer turkey and top with layer of stuffing.
  6. Rolls up length wise.  
  7. Slice with a bread knife in rolls and place on parchment lined pan.
  8. Baste with egg wash mixture, sprinkle with remaining Herbs de Provence and bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees until golden brown.
  9. Serve on their own or with extra turkey and cranberry sauce as pictured, enjoy!

Tip: as you roll pinch toward yourself. Brush edge with egg wash and then seal. These are great for a party, make ahead and keep warm in your slow-cooker.  Make sure you use all cool ingredients, I didn’t the first time and my dough fell apart…
