Japanese Barbecue Fried Rice

2 cups of cooked rice

2 Tbsp oil

2 eggs

1/4 cup scallions, chopped

1/2 onion, diced

2 Tbsp ginger, diced

1 Tbsp garlic, diced

1/4 cup of Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce

  1. Heat oil on medium high.  Break eggs into oil and quickly soft scramble.  Using chop sticks works great.  Remove eggs with slotted spoon and set on paper towel lined plate.
  2. Add rice, scallions, onion, ginger, garlic and sauce and stir fry as rice starts to lightly brown for a few minutes.  Turn off heat, stir in egg and serve with extra Japanese Barbecue Sauce on the side.
