Serves 4-6
1 lb turkey, ground
10 oz shredded carrots
1 cup black beans
2 green onions, white and green parts diced
2 cups cooked rice
1 Tbsp minced garlic
Bachans Japanese BBQ Sauce
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1. Add white part of green onions, garlic and matchstick carrots to coconut oil and
saute for 5 minutes or so until carrots are tender. Set aside in bowl.
2. Brown Turkey until cooked with 1 Tbsp Bachans Japanese BBQ Sauce.
3. Mix everything together in pan and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
4. Put rice in bowl and top with TCB, serve extra sauce on the side.
“TCB” stands for taking care of business or in this case Turkey, Carrots & Beans. Since this
is one of my more “healthyish” dishes that I need to work on, I felt “TCB” was a good way to describe it.
Tips:
-Bachans Japanese Sauce is has become a go-to in my kitchen, however
be aware besides being crazy delicious it is high in sodium so a little goes a long way.
-Make it a casserole by combining everything after cooking and just heating in the oven.
